Pensacola Blanket Drive 2024: 

As temperatures drop, many in our community are left vulnerable to the cold, without the basic warmth of a blanket. The Pensacola Blanket Drive 2024 is your chance to make a tangible difference by donating new or gently used blankets to those in need. Join us on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Warrington Church, where we’ll be collecting blankets to distribute to our homeless neighbors. Each blanket you donate brings comfort, warmth, and hope to someone in our community who is struggling to stay safe this season. 

Introducing Saved Life Compassion Kits: Sharing Hope and Meeting Needs 

We are excited to announce our new outreach initiative: Saved Life Compassion Kits! These kits are designed to provide essentials for our homeless neighbors, including items that can fit in a one-gallon zip lock bag. Here's what each kit will contain:

• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Soap or body wash (travel-sized)
• Shampoo (travel-sized)
• Deodorant (travel-sized)
• Hand sanitizer
• Wet wipes
• Socks
• Granola bars or protein bars
• Bottled water
• Band-aids
• Lip balm
• Handwritten personal note with a message of hope
• A NKJV Bible with be given alongside each Compassion Kit.

How You Can Help: Simply bring a blanket to the drop-off site or any of the compassion kit materials, and help us spread warmth and care to those who need it most. Every donation counts! Together, we can ensure no one is left out in the cold and has their basic necessities. We will spend the afternoon building Compassion Kits. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AND WELCOMED! 

We can also receive sweatshirts and jackets. Please ensure they are clean. We are to do unto our neighbors as we would like done to us. No one wants a nasty piece of clothing. Yuck. 

Hot dogs, chips and water will be served.
