Saved Life – Statement of Beliefs
1. The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and our final authority for faith, life, and recovery. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12)
2. The Nature of God
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal, sovereign, holy, and full of grace. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Revelation 1:8)
3. Jesus Christ, Our Savior
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived sinlessly, died for our sins, rose again, and is the only way to salvation. (John 14:6; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering us to live in freedom, walk in recovery, and bear spiritual fruit. (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 8:11)
5. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—not by works, but by the finished work of the Cross. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)
6. Identity in Christ
We believe every believer is a new creation. In Christ, we are no longer defined by our past but by His purpose. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20)
7. Recovery as Discipleship
We believe recovery is a spiritual process of sanctification—dying to self, living by the Spirit, and walking in obedience to Christ. (Luke 9:23; Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 3:18)
8. The Great Commandment
We believe in loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength—and loving our neighbor as ourselves. This is the heartbeat of our ministry. (Matthew 22:37-40; John 13:35)
9. The Great Commission
We believe in making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
10. The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and the family of believers, called to gather in unity, grow in grace, and go with the gospel. (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:11-13)
11. Spiritual Warfare
We believe we are engaged in a spiritual battle. Recovery requires equipping believers with the Word, prayer, and the armor of God to stand firm. (Ephesians 6:10-18; 2 Corinthians 10:4)
12. Our Blessed Hope
We believe Jesus Christ will return in glory to establish His Kingdom. Our hope is in Him—not only for recovery in this life, but for eternal life to come. (Titus 2:13; Revelation 21:4-5)
