OUR FOUNDERS

Rev. Jason J. Day
Recovery Pastor / Founder at Saved Life

Author of The Quest to Become Recovered

Rev. Jason J. Day, known by many as Pastor Jason or "Rev", is a walking testimony of God’s power to redeem, restore, and repurpose a life. Once shackled by alcohol addiction, multiple prison sentences, and homelessness, Pastor Jason knows what it’s like to live in the depths of despair. But he also knows the One who brings the dead back to life.

His journey radically changed when a pastor friend asked him a question that pierced straight to the heart: “When are you going to stop building your own Kingdom and start building His?” That moment of confrontation became a moment of consecration—where pride gave way to surrender, and self-will bowed before the will of God.

With the faithful support of his wife, Sam, Pastor Jason stepped into his true calling. He founded Saved Life, a ministry born from brokenness but rooted in redemption, and became the visionary behind The Quest to Become Recovered—a discipleship-driven recovery journey that blends biblical truth with practical transformation. This ministry exists for those battling addiction, identity crises, and spiritual disconnection, offering a clear path from the self life to the Saved Life.

Drawing from his own scars and Scripture, Pastor Jason also established The Quest House, a residential recovery initiative designed to create a safe, faith-centered environment where men and women can experience true change through community, accountability, and Christ.

One of the most beautiful chapters of his redemption story came quietly and personally. During the years lost in addiction, Pastor Jason grieved the father he failed to be. Yet he carried a silent desire deep in his heart—to one day be the kind of dad God had always called him to be. He never spoke it aloud, but God heard it. And in His perfect grace, that unspoken prayer was answered with the birth of his son, John David Alexander Day—affectionately known as Little Alex. In that moment, the Lord gave him the desire of his heart and restored what addiction had tried to steal.

Today, Pastor Jason continues to write, teach, and disciple others through Saved Life and The Quest to Become Recovered, empowering people to rise from the ashes of addiction, sin, and shame into lives filled with freedom, purpose, and Kingdom impact.

His message is simple yet profound: “Be who God intended you to be. Do what He intended you to do.”

Whether through his words, his ministry, or his story, Pastor Jason invites everyone to embrace the truth—no one is too far gone, and nothing is too broken for Jesus to redeem.

Samantha "Sam" Day
Co-Founder / Curriculum Developer / Graphic Designer

Co-Author of The Quest to Become Recovered

Sam Day, wife of Rev. Jason J. Day and co-author of The Quest to Become Recovered series, is a woman of extraordinary faith, wisdom, and quiet strength. As both a devoted wife and a spiritual backbone of their shared ministry, Sam has played a pivotal role in shaping the heart, message, and mission of Saved Life.

Sam is a gifted teacher, visionary thinker, and bold example of a strong Christian woman. Her ability to communicate deep biblical truths with clarity and compassion has touched countless lives—especially women navigating recovery, identity, and faith. As a curriculum builder, she has helped design materials that are not only doctrinally sound, but also relationally rich and spiritually practical, ensuring every lesson in The Quest speaks powerfully to the soul.

Her unwavering belief in God's call on Pastor Jason’s life was a turning point in his story. He often says, “Without her, I likely wouldn’t have gone through with it. She showed me the love of Christ in her actions. She helped to break down the walls of guilt and shame I still clung to.” Her discernment, intercession, and sacrificial love have helped forge the foundation of this ministry.

Sam’s contributions extend far beyond encouragement—she is a true partner in purpose and ministry. As co-author of The Quest series, she brings a vital perspective and voice that reflects grace, truth, and healing. She ensures the curriculum is not only doctrinally faithful but also emotionally resonant, making space for the brokenhearted to encounter Jesus in a personal and transformative way.

In addition to writing and teaching, Sam actively serves in outreach efforts like The Quest House and The Well Recovery Café. Her compassionate leadership, quiet strength, and wisdom earned through life experience have become a wellspring of encouragement to others. As a mother to their children—including their miracle son, John David Alexander Day (Little Alex)—Sam’s nurturing spirit adds depth and relatability to everything she touches.

Sam Day is not just the wife of a pastor—she is a co-laborer in the Kingdom, a teacher of truth, a visionary builder of transformative curriculum, and a woman whose walk with God is leaving a legacy. Her life is a living testimony that strong women of faith not only stand beside their husbands—they also lead, build, teach, and shape the spiritual future of generations to come.

OUR MODEL

We are called to reach those trapped in sin, addiction, and despair, offering the hope and freedom found in Christ.

Through God’s grace, we walk alongside people as they discover that their past does not define them and that Christ brings new life and purpose.

We help individuals rebuild their lives, equipping them to live in the fullness of God’s plan—healed, whole, and thriving in their purpose.

OUR FOURFOLD MISSION

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

Jesus gave His disciples a mission: to start where they were, then expand outward, carrying the Gospel to every corner of the earth. At Saved Life, we embrace this same calling—to bring the Living Water of Christ to those in need, beginning in our own community and extending beyond.

Our Fourfold Mission: A Biblical Blueprint for Expansion

✅ Pensacola (Our Jerusalem): This is our home base. The Well is a place of transformation, discipleship, and recovery, where individuals encounter Jesus, experience healing, and grow in faith. Through outreach, mentorship, and community impact, we are committed to building a foundation of faith right here in our city.

✅ The Gulf Coast & Florida Panhandle (Our Judea): As God moves in Pensacola, we extend our reach into neighboring cities and communities. Through partnerships, church planting, and regional discipleship initiatives, we seek to equip leaders and spread the message of recovery and redemption throughout our region.

✅ The United States (Our Samaria): Just as the early church crossed cultural and societal barriers, we are committed to reaching beyond our immediate context. Through digital outreach (Saved Life Today on YouTube), prison ministry (The Quest to Become Recovered mentorship program), and future Well locations, we will bring the hope of Christ to those who need it most.

✅ The Ends of the Earth: Our ultimate vision is to see The Quest and The Well impact lives worldwide. Through translated resources, online discipleship, and global partnerships, we believe the message of Jesus Christ can reach hearts far beyond our borders.

From One Well to Many

A well is a place of refreshment, renewal, and life. In biblical times, wells were central to communities—meeting places where people drew water to sustain themselves. At Saved Life, we believe every Saved Life chapter should be a spiritual wellspring, offering hope and transformation.

Our mission is simple: Being all God intended us to be, Doing all He has called us to do. And as we remain faithful, we trust that what starts in Pensacola will flow outward—changing lives, one soul at a time.

Will you join us in this mission?

OUR QUEST

Saved Life is the HOME to The Quest to Become Recovered. The Quest is not just a program, but a path to true freedom. This is a journey that goes beyond sobriety, beyond self-help, and beyond temporary change. It is a call to transformation, a quest for your true identity, and a pursuit of purpose in Christ.

Here, recovery is not about returning to who you used to be—it’s about being the person God created you to be and doing what aligns with His purpose for your life. Through biblical truth, discipleship, and the power of the Holy Spirit, The Quest leads men and women out of the cycle of addiction, brokenness, and self-reliance into a redeemed life of victory, service, and spiritual strength.

Whether you are taking your first steps or walking alongside others in their journey, you are invited to embark on The Quest to Become Recovered. It’s time to leave behind the chains of the past and step into the life God has prepared for you.
